I am a dad of two boys and have been baking for my family and friends for over 16 years.  It all started when I decided to make and decorate a cake for my older son's 2nd birthday – it was Winnie the Pooh. I continued to make birthday cakes for my kids and for my friend's kids for several years. 

When my younger son was 2, he had a severe allergic reaction to nuts. I wanted him to enjoy cookies and cakes so I worked on making my recipes nut free.  As we tested him for different allergies, we learned he was allergic to legumes (beans and peas), peanuts, tree nuts and sesame.  This made me more conscious of the ingredients I used as well as the products I bought; and I do not bake with any sesame, nuts, nut flours, bean flours, or pea flours. As years went on, family and friends were diagnosed with Celiac so I adapted my recipes once again to also be gluten free. 

After years of making treats for my family and friends, I decided to sell them since it is difficult to find delicious baked goods that are nut free, gluten free, pea flour free and bean flour free. I also use no artificial colors in my  standard treats, but can customize my Rainbowless or other cookies with colors (artificial colors used) on request.
